The first and second match will be today at 12:30 p.m. Against UIC and tonight at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons will conclude the weekend as they host Xavier on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Perry Stadium on August 26, beginning at 4:30 p.m., immediately following the Falcon Volleyball game against Xavier that begins at 2:00 p.m. BGSU Athletics invites all members of the community to this free event to enjoy interacting with BGSU student-athletes and coaches. BGSU's varsity teams will run stations around the field and in the east concourse, including a baseball radar gun, balance beam and tumbling station with the gymnastics team, shoot with the hockey team and much more! Football posters, along with select other sport posters, will be available and student-athletes will be available to sign autographs.

Self Defense Workshop at Student Recreation Center This 6-week progressive self- defense course is designed to teach individuals skills that leave them prepared and capable of defending themselves in any necessary situation. Participants learn, practice and master how to evade common attack maneuvers along with additional defense skills. Female participants needed for research project Females are invited to participate in a research project examining the influence of stress on the voice. The study will take place in the HHS Building and will last around 2 hours. If you are a Caucasian female, native speaker of English, between 18 and 35 years old, who uses a non-hormonal birth control method, and is in overall good health, you may be eligible to participate. If you are interested in finding out more information about the study, including more eligibility requirements, please email Brittany Perrine. Adult participants needed for research study A study is being conducted by a graduate student in clinical psychology that looks at the experiences of adults who have lost a sibling through death. Participants will be asked to participate in a brief phone prescreening interview to determine eligibility, followed by an individual interview lasting approximately 1 hour.
Topics covered during the interview will include the participant's experiences dealing with the loss, receipt of support after the loss, and changes that occurred as a result of the death. Participants will be given a $10 Amazon gift card as a thank you for their involvement in the study. Participants must over 18 years of age. Additionally, they must have experienced the death of a sibling between 1 and 5 years ago. Questions and interests in participating can be directed to Matthew Benoit, the principal investigator.

This low-impact class includes gentle stretches, balance and breathing as well as movements designed to increase range of motion in joints and relieve tension. Lastly, enjoy 5-minutes of mindful meditation at the end of each class.
